The Goochland County Sheriff's Office Citizen's Academy is a program that allows Goochland County Citizens the opportunity to get a closer look at the many functions of the Sheriff’s Office. The program consists of an 11-week course, held one night a week. Classes consist of lectures, demonstrations, hands-on scenarios, and tours. Topics include traffic stops, DUI investigations, crime prevention, animal protection, and much more! Completion of this course provides the opportunity to participate in a ride-along.
